Thank you and see you DAMA + data teams & the data discovery team

Thank you so much everyone that attended "Data Catalog Journey" in Helsinki, organized by DAMA Finland ry . More than 100 people listened to Mikko Eskola and Juha-Pekka Joutsenlahti presenting their thoughts on data catalogs and finally S?de Haveri interviewing me about about my book The Enterprise Data Catalog.

The Helsinki tech scene is vibrant - I hope to see you again soon, all of you!

The Data EMEA conference is up in two weeks in Bologna, masterfully organized by Nino Letteriello --> https://data-emea.org/ I will be speaking about how splitting a knowledge graph into various user interfaces, to maximize the capabilities of the graph. I will also demo Zeenea along with Amir HAMZA to show this split of the graph in real life.

Finally I have read Data Teams by Jesse Anderson . It was an excellent read, and rare as a tech book, in the sense that it focuses on organization and psychology. We need more of those types of insight to succeed, in the data community.

Is did a review of Jesse's book on my Medium profile: https://olesenbagneux.medium.com/everything-big-data-was-and-everything-it-will-ever-become

My profile is brand new (2,5 years in the making), and I will be doing all my book reviews there, going forward. But, I will still talk about books here in LinkedIn also, highlighting one central passage from each book.

I also did a guest post on Jesse's blog. I explain how The Data Discovery Team, that I envision, could work with the Data teams put forward by Jesse: https://www.jesse-anderson.com/2023/11/the-data-discovery-team/

Thank you for reading, I hope it's useful.

See you soon data people

may I use this photo in my Dama Emea presentation. my own photo did'n succeed...

Thanks Ole for the inspiring interview. This kind of sessions boost morale :) As a consequence.... Postman-Pat just today carried me your book. Browsing around first, I already like these sub-headers, e.g. this one!
