"Thank You" Say it today. Tomorrow might not come...

When I was young, I took things for granted, I believe many others did so, as well. After all, we were young and we didn’t know what life could be like on the other side. Then slowly as I grew up, My folks taught me how to appreciate things around me. As I saw more and more of the world out there, I realised all the things I’d been given are not rights, but privileges.
Sometimes it’s easy to feel bad because you’re going through a tough time in life. However, remember that no matter how bad your situation may seem, there are tens of thousands of things to be grateful for in life.
When we were young, our folks taught us to say ‘thank you’, and later when we started writing, they taught us to write thank you cards and notes. Why? Because it’s a nice and polite thing to do, and is socially expected. But as we get older, we forget to say thank you. As we expect more of others we don’t feel the need for, or have the time to, acknowledge our appreciation every time.
We may thank a waitress for serving our lunch, but we’ll watch our parents make dinner or bring us a cup of tea in the morning with barely more than a grunt. It seems that the more people mean to us, the more we consider their help and support a given.
“ We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude”
You may be surprised at how much power a simple ‘thank you’ can have in getting the best out of everyone in your life. We should thank our lovely parents, for giving birth to us, taking care of us and loving us unconditionally. All those lovely friends & colleagues who deserve thanks. So sit for a minute and think about something they’ve done to make your life happier or easier, and make a point of expressing gratitude to them.
So why not start saying ‘thank you’ more often? And not just to the strangers you encounter, but the people who do little things for you every day without thought. Let your family, friends and colleagues know just how much you value them and their actions.
To Manmohan Sir,
Thank You..........For your lovely smile, for sharing the last cookie, for letting me sit on your chair, for listening to my stories, for all your advice, for being there for us.....we will always remember and reflect on the great times we shared with you.... If only i had known ......I would have said these sooner...........Rest In Peace..........
Life Is Beautiful.
