Thank you for the ride of a lifetime!

Today marks my last day at Uber and I had the most adventurous journey of my life here. It has been the experience of a lifetime, one I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. ?

I joined Uber ~4 years ago, passionate about the opportunity to solve India’s mobility problem at scale, the chance to build new businesses, reimagine cities for the better, and to become a part of a once-in-a-generation company of our time. Building Uber with the team has been a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the privilege of my career so far. From the opportunity to work with an insanely talented team;? to building something that has impacted the daily lives of so many users for the better; to lifelong friendships. It has been everything that I could’ve asked for and more.?

As I move on from this incredibly great place, I want to remember a few things during my time here that I’ve learned and will stay with me forever.?

• Winning as a team is so much more fun compared to winning alone. Working together as the sum of the parts is greater than the whole and delivers greater impact. It takes massive x-functional collaboration to make any project live and it’s an incredible feeling to win as a team which is why playing team sports is so much more fun and satisfying. I’ve had the privilege of being part of a few great teams within One Uber: Rajasthan City Ops, North Regional Ops, HVP Central Ops, Growth Category, Rider Ops, Hourly Global Ops, and New Mobility - as much I was part of all the teams for the larger vision of making an impact in the society, I was also always in for just the fun of winning as a team.?

• Uber is a remarkable combination of hustle, resilience, and a champion’s mindset. Not taking no for an answer,? working towards making it yes, and finally finding a way of getting things done. Yes, we are facing a lot of challenges in the current status quo from a service excellence point of view, but working at Uber has always been about trying to solve complex problems every single day. If we zoom out, we can be really proud of what we have built which has directly impacted the lives of millions of riders and driver-partners.? Prized Possession :)

From day 1 till the last days of my time at Uber, I've had tremendous learnings which have fuelled so much personal growth. It would not have been possible without having been surrounded by some of the most amazing folks I've had the pleasure to work with. I owe them everything. Thank you for the ride of a lifetime!??

And to all my friends who continue to build Uber, I will be strongly cheering for you from the sidelines (and keep getting back to you with insights and first-hand experience of what you build next!)

As for what’s next for me, I’ll spend my time building Animall, a startup building an online platform to empower millions of dairy farmers, ushering the next digital white revolution!?More on that to follow.
