A thank you note...

Another beautiful day in paradise.

This may be my first posting in this media and I would like to use it to express how fotunate I have been in the 23 + years of ecperience in the Time Share industry. I am very grateful to have found this profession that have give so many great things and experiences in my life.

23 years ago in 1995 I was hired in Tijuana to work for Plaza Las Glorias (that does not exist anymore), and worked with Juan Barrera (RIP) and many people that introduced me in the business. After that I jumped around a few more companies until I landed at Marina Fiesta. My friend and brother Fausto Pascacio became my mentor along with Dorilian Zurita, Gerardo Aguilera and the rest of the team that trained me, and showed me many things that helped me to become one of the best in very little time.

While there, because of some changes I joined Ricardo Brito's team at the airport of San José del Cabo and also with the help of my teammates I was able to become one of the best out there and turn my life around in many positive ways. Along all those friends I would like to mention and thank: Rigoberto Ríos, Carlos Juárez, Lupe Tijerina, Danny Tijerina (RIP), Jose Luis López, Adrián Pi?a, José ángel Pi?a, Juan Manuel Estrada, Fabricio Barreto, Héctor Aviles, Mario Guillen (RIP), Orlando Blanco and many, many others that were there, sharing their wisdom and friendship troughout the years.

I was able to be recognized as the Top OPC for Marina fiesta in 1998 for being the Top Sales producer of the year. I never got to thank our boss and mentor Chuck Erickson in person as he passed away a few months before that. However, his teachings and legacy lives today among the fortunate people like me that got to know him. Thank you Chuck!

After that I worked at Pueblo Bonito with some of the people mentioned above and then with Fabricio Barreto and Juan Zamora at FiestAmericana. Fabricio gave me the chance to become a Marketing Supervisor at this project where I also learned many things. I had the opportunity to work with Juan Zamora at Hacienda del Mar also managing the airport team. It was aswome. Fabricio and I with our "mega dreams", look at us now!

At some point in year 2000 the Erickson Family (Chris, Steve (RIP) and Jed Erickson), along with Farsin Ferdosi and Rhandy Smith hired me to be the Director of Marketing for Cabo Villas Beach Resort where I worked for 8 years in that role. The Erickson family along with their team helped and supproted me to develop my career in many ways. I would like to extend my recognition to them and the team around them like: Linda Coombs, Sean Freeman, Adam Clapp, Rosy Rodelo, Maricela Vega, Valentino Sartev (el Capo Valentino), Hugo Cruz (pepe to?o), Mónica Aragón, Serena Hernández, Ramón Urias, Ilda Erickson and many more whom I apologize if I forgot to mentioned. If you ever have the opportunity to work with them, do it! Great things are waiting to happen.

Back in 2009 I was hired to work with the Villa Group to open their Cancun Marketing Program, a hell of a ride too! I got to work with some of the coolest and finest people: Tim Lester, Chris Lester, Christopher Cornish (who is one of the best sales people and sales managers I ever met), John Gabruk (RIP), Mario Muro, Manuell Bonilla, Fernando Gonzáles, Uriel Valero and many many more both on Marketing and Sales. A special message of gratitude to the Marketing Team from Cancun that worked with me on those years. A very special mention to Alma Nájera who is a terrific person and a great human being. Her support and succes its an inspiration for me.

Then I was invited to work at Club Regina in Cabo, having the opportunity to go back home, the list of awesome people that I worked with is endless: Jaime Lizarraga with whom i still have the chance to work with, Jaime is one of my favorite persons to work with and I am thankful to have it as part of my team, also Miguel Palazuelos, Lulú Nu?ez, Victor Shwartz with whom now I still have the pleasure to work with at The Inn, Gabby Careaga who still inspires me in the seek of success as she does everyday, Sergio Barraza, Matty and everyone of that generation. I had a great time working there.

Gonzalo Hernández has played a role in my career, he is a hard/smart working man and also an excellent human being. If you ever have the chance to work with him, go for it!

Then, somwhere in March 2013 I got to meet Christopher Thomas, Michael Gerigh and Jorge Bravo. They interviewed me to work with them at Welk's Sirena del Mar, it was the most intense interview in my lif. Somehow I managed to get the gig and I was introduce to a whole new world of way of doing business. I got to work with Gary Dufresne who is a great person and has huge experience in the business, Rafaela, Elsa Melis (we still work together and had been working side to side for the last 6 years, gracias Elsa! your are awesome), Fedra, Gina García, Judith, Luis Elizondo, Bill Dybas (another awesome and hardworking person, gracias Bill!) and many other people. We did some great things.

I want to extend a special thanks to Christopher Thomas who has been an inspiration to me in many was, he trusted me and was the key to open the AMS Northern Baja program back in 2015. Without his help that would never happened, there was people who tought he was crazy for doing this, but time and numbers proved them different. Being able to open that program with his gidance and trust has been one of the best experiences in my career. Sam Ray played an important role too. Also: Rhandy Brooks and Robert Sugden. Gracias se?ores!

If you ever get the chance to work with any of these guys, do not hesitate, you are in for a treat as these guys are awesome to work with!

Because of changes on the Welk Resorts Organization, I had the opportunity to work with Sterling Edens who took the program under his wing. Along with him, I got to work closer with Krizdale Efren Gimeno, Ryan Baloy, Kristyn Maher, Emily Brown, Susan Cooper, Tony Ybarra, and so many more who are some of the best people in the industry.

Things happen very quicly sometimes, until today I did not took the time to thank any of the people above mentioned (and some others like: Ira Kristol, Jon Fredricks, Glenn Clinton, Larry Rote, Hoku Keliikoa, and more) from Welk Resorts that was part of my growth in the industry and that I learned so much from. It was difficult leaving that company.

As for now, the team that works with me in Baja and SD, I want to show my gratitude and admiration for all of them: Elsa Melis, Jaime Lizarraga, Melissa Aispuro, Ana Rocha, Miguel Ruvalcaba, Stephania Ramírez, Santiago Rojas, Alejandra Armenta, Rogelio González, Erroll Maas and Silvia Ramírez. All of you are the corner stone of this present and future of our team, we are a family and the things we do are aimed to make us unstoppable and grow beyond our limits! You are on the road to success and advancing every minute.
