Thank you Norfolk!

Today is a day for reflection and an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ as tomorrow I will have been in business for one year…. I am thrilled to be marking this one year milestone at the fabulous nor(DEV):biz run by my good friend Paul Grenyer.  Paul is a selfless Norfolk entrepreneur, passionate about the relationship between Business and Tech.  Paul has supported me tremendously during my first year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him.

Over the past 12 months I have had the opportunity to work with a number of really interesting clients and I am grateful to each of them for the opportunity to support the engagement of their workforce and business.

I am incredibly fortunate to say that there are way too many people that have supported me this year to name them individually, but there are a few I would particularly like to mention.  

I would like to start with the wonderful Paul Ward, who introduced me to motivation maps two years ago.  Maps have really changed my life and the way I look at business and employee engagement. 

I also cannot recommend or thank Chris Sargisson and The Norfolk Chambers of Commerce team highly enough for all their support. I can easily say that at least 80% of my clients and network have been sourced through the Chamber and I am incredibly grateful.

A massive thank you also goes to Chris Cliffe who has helped me secure some really fabulous opportunities. In addition, I am delighted to be working with Chris and the rest of the IoD Norfolk Ambassadorial team.  We are a team passionate about supporting Norfolk Directors and creating opportunities for them to learn, share experiences and build their network.

As an independent and high ‘Spirit’ I didn’t expect my life to change as radically as it has by meeting Brian Bush!  Brian and I have completely connected over our joint passion for employee engagement, Norfolk and fun at work!  I have so much respect for Brian, his authenticity, experience and altruism.  I am totally enjoying this crazy journey we are currently on; both in business and with Engaging Norfolk and I would like to thank him sincerely.

None of my success would be possible without the support and challenge from Jo Rayner, an incredible Norfolk life coach, who has helped me more than she will ever know over the past five years.  I am so grateful to have someone of Jo’s caliber and experience supporting and encouraging me.

I have been overwhelmed at the support and altruism offered by the Norfolk business community. Norfolk really is an incredible community in which to start a business and there is some mind-blowing business happening in our county!  So a massive thank you to everyone that has worked with me over the past year, connected with me or just had coffee with me, I certainly intend to ‘pay it forward’….
