Thank you Liversedge family

It has been a year from my first day in Owens Corning and more specifically, joining the Liversedge family. I just want to share how proud I feel to be part of this team; for the opportunity to lead them in our transformation towards TPM certification.?I’d like to share the great results we continue to achieve, with passion, engagement and effort. We celebrate:

Incidents and safety tags: We are in the 2nd half of the year and our reporting has significantly improved in comparison to 2020. We are tracking at 94% closure rate year to date, which is a massive improvement compared 66% last year. This goal was achieved whilst seeing significant increase in the number of incidents and tags raised.

Quality: We’ve received positive feedback from our customers about the improvements on our communication and effectiveness solving historic problems. We’ve reduced the number of complaints received by our customers compared to Jan-Sept 2020, by 24%.

Performance: We started the year with a good trend of progression, improving results compared to previous months.?Despite a drop In June, we continued fighting with resilience and consistency. So far this year, we have achieved on our main process line the highest monthly OEE ever in the history of the plant, the highest volume expedited from site in a month and the highest monthly OEE on our main downstream machine, three new site records to celebrate.

These successes are because of?small actions done by more people on the plant; ?quality?analysis of issues, focus on key variables, proactively flagging possible issues, better communication ?between teams, flexibility, working on prevention and trying to be better prepared for deviations, using problem solving tools across the shifts. The results of successful projects developed in 2021. Working collaboratively. Improved planning of activities and the support given by leaders whilst being closer to shopfloor.
