Thank You

My sister reminded me that today was my husband's 9th Work Anniversary ...

Arthur Brooks said: “I believe our work and our families are two of the most tangible ways we are reminded that we are necessary. That the people around us rely on us and on the contributions that only we can make. Remembering this is one of the central ways that we can sense our human dignity. It is a great blessing to know we are needed.”

After my husband passed away unexpectedly several months ago I felt I needed to recognize his employer, Bronson Methodist Hospital. I sent this email to the President, Mr. Frank Sardone (and yes, he took the time to personally reply):

Hello Mr. Sardone,

My husband, Daniel Sullivan, passed away a few weeks ago and I felt I needed to send you a quick note to say THANK YOU for providing Dan with the wonderful opportunity to work for Bronson Methodist Hospital.

It was truly the best job he ever held and we both are (were?) so very grateful.

Also, I wanted you to know that Dan’s boss, Karl Lewis, is truly a wonderful man, manager, employee. His love of knowledge, his wisdom and insight that he so willingly and freely shares with others is unheard of in most companies. Karl takes the time to invest in others and loves teaching them, bringing them up to a higher level. Karl’s high IQ and patience was never lost on Dan. “A boss has a title, a leader has the people.” Simon Sinek

So, from the bottom of my heart I just want to say THANK YOU for being such a wonderful employer in such a crazy, volatile market. When so many companies cut every corner they can to save on their bottom line, Bronson Methodist Hospital continues to invest in their employees and their families. Thank you for having the courage and wisdom to understand how important this is for our human dignity and the future of our communities. “The Lord has blessed me because of you.” Genesis 30:27

Thank you,

Laura Sullivan

Hi Laura, I just saw your report about the american plastic-recycling lie. Great! Have you ever heard about the Swiss company Enespa? enespa.com They recycle mixed Plastc by pyrolysis, the only way to turn plastic into oil again. Their businesss model is to sell pyrolysis machines worldwide to recycling companies. The good thing is, that these machines are scalable and the first machines are already installed in Europe, Australia and the US. I am just a small Enespa investor and I expect the IPO in 2025/26. The problem is, that this company is still small and needs time to grow. But there is no time for this massive problem. Maybe you contact Cyril Hugi, he ist the CEO and founder of Enespa. I am sure you can make contact to the right (!) people in the US to go ahead more quickly... kind regards [email protected]

What a beautiful letter. I enjoyed working with Dan very much and am still in shock at his passing. Laura: Know that he loved you and spoke of you and your family often. Anne Minshall?
