We wrote to you on behalf of our sons and daughters in August, urging you to call off the competitive bidding process for the selection of agencies to provide Independent Service Coordination (ISC) services to them.

AND YOU LISTENED!

Thank you for announcing that the NOFO (Notice of Funding Opportunity) has been canceled, and that all current ISC agencies will be offered an opportunity to sign a new agreement with DDD for the new program set to begin next July 1.

?

It is a great relief to the current participants in the CILA and Home-Based Services programs that their ISCs will not be forced out of business because their scores on applications for contract renewal are slightly lower than a competitor agency.? That is what happened to 3 excellent agencies in 2019.

?

And it is also very good news for the individuals that their treasured caseworkers will not be taken away from them.
