Thank you from The Female Lead

The Female Lead team want to say a special thank you, to all of you, for supporting us and sharing our content far and wide throughout this challenging year. Thank you for your belief, your trust and most of all, your enthusiasm. We are overjoyed that we have reached so many, have helped to raise spirits and to celebrate an incredible array of women changing the world today.

Throughout the year, we’ve continued to gift our content to hundreds of thousands of school and college students and from this, they’ve built their own Female Lead Societies and Clubs. We now have a chance to join our voices and our collective spirit to help shape a better future.

2021 is our most ambitious year yet, and we hope you will stay with us for the next important phase of The Female Lead.

From all of us at The Female Lead, and from me personally, please keep believing in yourself and all that you stand for. Wishing you a safe and meaningful Christmas/Holiday and a New Year we can all celebrate!

The Female Lead Society

The Female Lead Society allows girls to discuss the stories of inspiring women, whilst exploring larger issues to which these stories connect – gender equality, ambition, gender stereotypes and lots more.

Social Media and Mental Health - Disrupting The Feed

Social media guidance currently focuses on safety and time limits, but very little on how to make the experience more enriching. We wanted to know: can social media become a positive and inspirational force in girls’ lives?

Our research proved that there really is a way to make social media healthier for girls; an inexpensive and simple intervention, one that can be rolled out to schools across the country. 2021 is our most ambitious year yet.

The future is still a challenge and women want more than just stories – they’re looking for answers to big questions; they want advice and guidance. If we are to rebuild our economy after Covid19, we need to work out how to help women build longer and more senior career paths.

We will reveal all of our research and findings around Women at Work in 2021. Keep an eye on our channels and website.
