Thank You, Extra Horizon! For everything

Three years ago I was approached to analyze the market potential of a 2nd product line at an existing software company. The analysis lead to a new business unit, then a spin-off, and ultimately my first formal role as a CEO.?

What a ride it has been! Today, I am proud to see how Extra Horizon has grown into a completely self-reliant organization that is ready for anything the world can throw at it. And I am extremely proud to have been part of that growth.

With that, I am now looking forward to taking this big new bag of experiences to the next challenge. I’ve been an engineer, a marketeer, a head of product, strategy, and now CEO. What’s next? I’ve worked in Chemical Engineering markets, FinTech, BlockChain, Maritime and now Medical Software. What’s next? Combining vastly different experiences in newly formed complex patterns has always been a true passion of mine (see The Multi-Domain Expert - 2018). So I’m open for calls as of now!

I want to explicitly thank the entire Extra Horizon TEAM! All of its current and former members have added a great experience to my life, both professionally and personally. You truly were my raison d’être for the last three years. Secondly Kobe Leysen , partner in crime, and by extension Lars Grieten , Bieke Van Gorp and Jo Van der Auwera as co-founders for trusting me with their baby. Lastly, the board and its shareholders for keeping us on track through sometimes quite challenging times.
