Thank you, BSCAI
January 2023 BSCAI Board of Directors meeting

Thank you, BSCAI

Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) was founded decades ago by several janitorial contractors that had the vision and courage to work together to become better businesspeople and service providers. They would have been fine doing it alone, but they figured out that we would be better by sharing resources and working together.

One week ago, I took an oath to lead BSCAI with integrity and passion. I am so honored to be able to lead this organization for the next year, and so thankful for the leaders that came before; Those who had the foresight to bring us together, those who led us during very difficult times when the organization nearly dissolved, and those who helped us thrive during COVID 19 and created new ways for us to connect and learn from each other.

During the next year, as we grow our organization and continue to provide awesome educational and networking opportunities, we will focus on the following three priorities.

  1. Make our programming and education more accessible to members from various nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.
  2. Improve engagement with our members, making sure all of our members are involved and connected with our programs. We will encourage those who are thriving and well connected to reach out to members who are new or struggling.
  3. Modernize our CBSE (Certified Building Service Executive) certification by adding executive leadership and management training.

I welcome the opportunity to talk. If you have any questions about BSCAI, please reach out to me.
