Phowwww this video brings tears and a whole mixed bag of emotions....????
A year has gone by since this video was posted about how much Boomcast changed this user's life. Thank you to Crystal for reminding us all that happiness is found within.... not found from a big house, a new dress, a fancy restaurant, a glass of wine nor even a cup of tea... let alone an app...
If you're unhappy... What can you change/remove/let go of in your life? What are the biggest things that are bringing you down? Or most importantly what can you change about your way of thinking? Perhaps you have it all already! So be grateful, take it easy and enjoy life!
Boomcast was truly an incredible space for some of the world's most pure souls to connect on a deeper level. From helping each other get out of bed to motivating others to change the world... it was a place where we could all just... be. It gave us the support we needed and reminded us that we mattered.
It was an absolute honour to co-create this space with Emily Romano.... but it was the people on it who made it the special place that it was.... Cathy Kwanten, Rohit Thakral to name a few. Who are now chasing their dreams. And the incredible stories by Hugo Toovey, Ruby Veridiano, Lizette De Arkos, Nicole Serena Silver, Matt Sweetwood, Sophie Power, James Stewart, Lauren Jean Roerick, Jean Paul Laurent, Victoria Johnson, Cami Vi, Kendra Wright, K?rsten Blake, Amber Wason, Ilana Strom Harkavy, Sara Andrews, Ollie Minchin, Semra Huseynzade, Irena Dimitrovska, Hannah Romano (plus more).
Special shout-outs to Jas Singh Hothi for making connections, Jay Shetty for the video calls and Mark Leruste for your incredibly inspiring energy towards the end. To the team who stood by Adam Palmer, Harrison James Saghi, Baidalka Oleg, Peter Brenninkmeijer, Luraine Llanillo, and others, including investors, partners and mentors.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart to everyone who shared this journey with me.
Sometimes I think... did we give up too soon? Should we re-launch it? Should we keep it going on a smaller scale without the heavy costs of running a startup? I realised that you can't fix a problem the same way it was created... we tried to fix social media. If we are all more conscious about how we use social media to inspire, then it will change for the better naturally.
Not too long after this video was launched, my world was flipped upside down and I needed to step aside and focus on my own healing and find my spirit again. I'm now feeling lighter and happier than ever before and ready to re-build and re-create. Feeling so grateful for the Boomcast journey and the building blocks and lessons learned it gave me for the next adventure.
Whilst the Boomcast app and social network is no longer around, the blog and inspiring stories still remain here: https://boomcast.squarespace.com/
