Thank you all for your help in making the year HKN turned 120 the best one yet.
As we wrap up 2024, we reflect on a year filled with achievements, growth, and memorable moments and look forward to a great 2025. Here are some of the highlights that made this year truly special for IEEE-HKN:
SLC Grows Bigger & Better Every Year
From November 15-17, 2024, close to 350 HKN students, advisors, alumni, IEEE leaders, industry recruiters, society experts, and graduate school representatives gathered for our annual Student Leadership Conference (SLC) in North Carolina. The conference featured engaging sessions, collaborative meetings, hands-on workshops, and a bustling career fair. A special afterparty sponsored by IEEE Young Professionals and a lunch with IEEE 2025 President-Elect Mary Ellen Randall and 2025 IEEE President Kathleen Kramer added to the excitement. Students thrived in an environment where they were able to socialize and network with other top engineering students who are HKN from around the world.?

These new Chapters represent a diverse range of institutions and bring fresh energy and perspectives to our community, spreading the HKN ideals of scholarship, character, and attitude, to new parts of the world.
