Thank Mrs. Covids (9/19)

The moment we set new goals, our partners of co-creation will come to the scene. '"Ah, you wanted to change the script without our consent, are you sure?"

The partner that mostly shows up first is our mind, and our mind is a real trickster. So you better prepare the grounds, when setting ambitious goals that have a different agenda than your habitual patterns and behaviors. However, if you're aiming for the "same, same but different," the resistance will be minimal, but that is not what Divine co-creation is about.

The first fertilizer of the foundation is kindness. Kindness is often misunderstood and even used as an excuse to keep saying yes while disrespecting ourselves. Kindness, like all virtue, is to be practiced towards ourselves first. Saying no can be the kindest act and becomes more accessible when this no is rooted in a yes inside. Learning how to say yes and no is a journey on its own. A good tip is not to believe the first answer your mind comes up with, keep asking why and just wait a bit for the next answer.

If we can only be kind, we will get our head chopped off encountering our first worthy opponent, and be assured; you'll meet many on your inner journey.

The second fertilizer is humbleness, a perfect antidote to our mind's arrogance, convincing us we already know. The moment we're convinced we know, we stop listening and stop learning. We stop considering other ideas and possibilities. Life is a learning journey, and it is wise to recognize life as your master, right from the start. Masters come in different forms of disguise.

The next fertilizer or virtue to connect with is confidence. I could only connect with confidence after I discovered its deeper meaning. I had linked confidence with external references and a pile of expectations, including my own. None of them were aligned with whom I discovered to be. Only imagine and take actions you know you can handle with a little challenge. It is how we all got to where we are today.

Having a better understanding of your character and temperament helps as well, as our character often blocks our temperament. Our temperament is much closer to our natural being whereas our character is closer to our conditioning. Getting to know the difference will shine some light between what you think you love and what you truly love.

The final ingredient to nurture the foundation is gratitude. A daily gratitude practice is now generally acknowledged as a medicine against depression and anxiety. It is easy to be grateful if life happens our way, but we mostly learn when it happens quite differently. Practicing gratitude for every experience is a way to deepen this virtue. Our deepest act of gratitude is to discover our unique song. Manifesting this song into the world brings us in touch with devotion. It is one of the many fruits of the process of divine co-creation.

To prepare the grounds, you can start with some understanding of each of the fertilizers (Kindness, humbleness, confidence, gratitude) and give them some attention from time to time.

You can read a little more about the fertilizers here: kindness, humbleness, confidence, gratitude.

In general, whenever some kind of resistance comes along, say "thank you". Allow yourself to be ok with not knowing, it is probably closer to the truth. Truth is the only way to co-create sustainable towards the divine as it shapes the foundation of trust.

Thank you Mrs. Covids,

Steven.
