  • Meat: For non-vegetarian aficionados, Thakali Thali offers succulent meat dishes, often featuring specialties like Sukuti (dried goat/yak meat) or Gundruk (fermented leafy greens) with soybean, elevating the culinary experience.
  • Kanchhemba (Buckwheat Finger Chips): Crisp and golden, Kanchhemba adds a delightful crunch to the Thakali Thali, complementing the other components with its earthy flavors.
  • Mustang Alu: A regional delicacy, Mustang Alu, infused with the aromatic essence of Jimbu (Himalayan garlic chives), brings a unique taste of the high Himalayas to the palate.
  • They also serve seasonal salad , may simple carrot, cucumber, red onion , greechilli , radish there is no rule where ever they find in locally and seasonal.
  • Seasonal Green , I love the way simply cook Saag. Simply the Best
  • Aalu Tareko - Another simple dish , you can taste real taste of the potato.
  • Piseko Achar- Mostly tomato and green chilli and fresh coriander ( depend on season ) with hing to Timur.
  • Ghee: Clarified butter, generously drizzled over the Thakali Thali, not only enhances the flavors but also symbolizes the richness and hospitality of Nepalese cuisine.
  • Purano Achar - I love the aroma of mula ko achar, naturally fermented radish and mustard pickle. This is part of food Nepalese food preservation. Make it in it's pick season from surplus for future consumption.
  • Phopké (Fermented Rice): A sweet note to conclude the meal, Phopké offers a refreshing palate cleanser, balancing the savory elements with its subtle sweetness.
  • They also add now adays yoghurt
  • Padadam is probably coming from influence and adaptation .
