Thailand's Response against COVID-19
Thanks to the Thai Governments fast response, effective measures implemented, and the willingness & effort of the Thai People, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of the 24th of April 2020, is 2839. The number of recovered cases is 2430. The number of active cases is 359, and the number of deaths is 50.
On the 30th of April 2020, The Emergency Decree measures that were implemented by the Thai Government is up for review, and the next step in the battle against COVID-19 will be announced. Some emergency measures are expected to remain; however, I have hope for the future of the country, the people and the economy!
While the coronavirus pandemic has upended life for almost everyone, healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential workers have had to endure more risks than most.
A big 'Thank You' to those who are providing essential services during this time.
