The Ragged Edge of Hell

Looking at my life as though down into the ragged edge of hell,
You hadn't a care of how far I fell;
Nor to the depths and breadth,
Where one day I held the hand of death;
The demons from which you try and hide,
Will always seek you and will find;
That dark shell of the woman you've sadly become,
Rather than the woman who once radiated beauty and grace as bright as the sun;
Until you face the truth of the damage to me you have wrought,
Any chance of love and happiness will be for naught;
Just as the ghost ship is doomed to forever sail,
Though try as you might to start anew, You too will always fail;
You and he will never be free,
As long as I am a ghost you both can see.
