The Author Arturo Jiménez is is a bilingual attorney who has practiced in the area of federal immigration law for over 20 years in Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law and is a founder of the Immigration Clinic at Catholic Charities in Pueblo.

After serving as the President of the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition from 2000 to 2006, Arturo was twice elected to the Board of Education for the Denver Public Schools from 2007 to 2015.
