Or how to create a new life out of nothing but goodwill.
Today's issue will be a bit different than the usual Good News!
Let me tell you a little story about Ayebare Cecilia . When I first met her here on LinkedIn , she was broken and depressed. Why? Because she dreamed of a higher education but could not imagine how she ever could get it, given the fact that she had no money, no outsight, and no hope. Wait for it, the Good News is coming.
She reached out to me approximately two years ago with a DM, writing that she liked my positive attitude and that I would please be so kind as to inspire her. (Back then, I wrote a lot about mindset change, manifestation, etc).
What intrigued me was not only the fact that she asked for inspiration but also that she didn't ask for anything else.
She told me her story and believe me, she was very depressed and truly rock bottom and her story broke my heart.
All I did was what she asked for, inspire and motivate her - to have better thoughts, even if the situation was desperate - to believe in herself, to think about her talents, qualities and courage, and how our thoughts and emotions are powerful tools to create the life we want.
But she kept saying that she'd never make it, that all this was useless and that she wasn't worth it (Never say that to a life coach, ever!)
So I kept motivating her, I don't know why, something told me that she would go far in life.
And one beautiful day, I had a message in my inbox saying that she had the outsight of a scholarship in the United States and she just wrote to let me know and thank me. Just like that!

Fast forward to today. Cecilia has that scholarship in her pocket, from Clark University , as well as a student loan and she'll be heading to the States on August 19th this year.
And you know how she did that? Not by asking "Can you do this for me?", No! But by listening and creating her very own inspiration and motivation and just doing it! She did all that by herself.
If that isn't Good News! I don't know what is.
All she needs from us is $750 to pay for service fees and visa application. What do you think, my fellow optimist, shall we do that?
Have a smiling rest of the week - see you Thursday
