TGIM | NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS...

This week, I want you to focus on three words: Redemption, Restore and Return!

I had maybe, the most important event of my life last week! If you know anything about me, you know that I started this journey as a High School dropout. This past week, I was greatly humbled and honored to give the keynote speech at the National Dropout Prevention Conference, held in Detroit, MI.

Here I was talking to a room full of heroes! The people who pour into kids with a similar background as mine. Believe me when I tell you, I had no words! Listen to me, I was on my way to the bottom, but my hero, my pastor, and mentor grabbed me, poured into me and gave me a vision of my future I could believe in! 

If you're planning on giving up because it's too hard, I'm gonna need you to find you WHY. Don't look at your problems anymore. Look at Grandma, Big Momma, Grand Dad, Pop Pop, your son, your daughter, your wife! If you're going to succeed, You have to start looking at those who are the real reason for doing what you do! Don't let them down! Forget about the money! Forget about everything except your WHY! I can't explain it but, something happens when you have a WHY! With a "WHY" you'll find your redemption; you'll experience restoration, and return to the place you thought was your biggest defeat, only to claim it as your greatest victory! You've heard me say it a thousand times, "where your focus goes, your energy flows." So focus on what matters, grind for your WHY and, the rest will fall into place.
