Festival of Light as Diwali is known for is just around the corner knocking us with the full of Hope, Joy, Enthusiasm, and Happiness it brings along an entire nation will get standstill and will get simply circled this festival which is a mark of the new beginning of me, us, nation and the entire human race and that’s what any festival teaches us that Life is to celebrate no matter who we are, what we are and where we are.
‘Life without Festival is Error”. But have you ever noticed that when it’s time for the arrival of a festival, the whole aura changes, the whole community gets directed towards a faith, a surrounding full of good hopes, happiness, joy, celebrations is created.
It simply uplifts your bad mood and fills you with positive energy. It allows you to forget all the not-so-good events of the past and initiate fresh & new beginnings. You can also utilize this opportunity in all other positive aspects you can think of because your faith is high. A human is a member of a mysterious species, we don't know about our origin, but with a little faith we have the power to change the tides and change this world and create something exceptional and Festival just allows us to do so.
One thing always amuses me be it Diwali, ‘Eid, Christmas, or for that matter any other festival, is why it plays so much important in our life. I love every festival that gets celebrated around me because life itself is a festival that needs to be celebrated in full throttle.
But in today’s era though we are connected than ever before via social media and mobile phones and with all possible advancing technology, the festival have just become a mere holiday from your busy routine of life which forfeits the mere purpose of the festival and its entire existence.
Every festival gives you a strong insight into our life to reflect, react and reenergize our Mind, Body, and Soul. The whole objective of Celebrating festivals is not to cherish your Paid Leaves but to encash & energize your inner soul and feed it with happiness, love, and Light. Let me put in little perspective out here what exactly I’m trying to say and build my story here that any festival is just not to celebrate your paid leaves but to celebrate your inner child.
I think every festival should start with WTF and should end with WTF. Don’t get me wrong I’m not referring to the literal terminology of WTF but for me, it is ‘Wow That’s Festival’?and there is ‘Big ‘F’?which I want to elaborate on. Well WTF is:-
>?F-The-Materialistic: Festivals are meant to make us Indulgent. I’m sure you must have heard it’s a materialistic world blah blah! But I'm saying so be it! To celebrate life and festival you need to be materialistic. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, and how you do but you need to get as much materialistic as possible during festival time. Having a Magnum Ice-cream on Diwali or ‘Eid or Christmas sounds like a perfect indulgence during the festival for me. And how much it cost? Hmm.
Be as materialistic as possible during the festival and be completely unapologetic about it.
> F-The-Offline: Festivals for us are the chains and that bind Friends, Families, and close ones to spend more time together and hence lead to happiness and Love which boosts the quality of our life and this makes you excited about the little things, But !. In the Digital connected world, the whole purpose of togetherness is just fading away. Be it any festival, Morning of that festival day your mobile phone will be flooded truck lots of forward from across the universe and sometime from the people whom you speak probably not even once a year but still we do it out of formality. I'm saying it is not wrong but do we get that real joy unlike if that person calls you and wishes you! I can understand you can’t call all of them or meet all of them but you can try having more personal touch during festival time. The point I'm trying to make if someone means to you Call UP and not just forward some jpeg, it will make the difference. Be offline during festivals as much as you can. Be Real is New Sexy!
> F-The-Thank You: Festival gives a real opportunity to wish someone to say a very powerful two words ‘Thank You. Life is a Dance Floor and Festival is the Music and we dance along with those who are meant to us a lot. Without those bunch of people that dance floor is a waste & redundant. You can thank your parents, your spouse, your beloved, your friends, your colleagues or whoever you think who made your life as interesting as possible. Without that person's contribution to your life, the festival would have been meaningless.?
“Happy Diwali and Thank you very much for making my Diwali full of Love & Light. How does it sound? I can guarantee you whoever you tell this on a festive day that person will remember you forever.”

> F-The-Concrete Nature: Probably I'm getting extra positive with this approach but I always keep hearing things the world is becoming concrete jungle but if you see closely during the festival time there are so many positive vibes in the air across the cities which simply bring smile & happiness on your face. Durga Pooja festival is a classic example in Kolkata, oh boy! The entire city converts into something else which can only be dreamt of (Fantasy Land). Embrace the Concrete Nature during the festival. I get extremely energized seeing those beautiful lights.
> F-The-Stories: Festival is meant to create stories in your life not the reel but real ones. When you reminiscent your childhood days festival time I’m sure you can write a thesis on it. Why such stories can’t be created again to cherish every single moment of your life? I'm repeating again festivals are not just paid leaves or short breaks. It has a purpose and a very powerful purpose to create stories memorable stories.
> F-The-Hip: Try to look your best during festival days because it’s a very single window we get in a year to look good, feel good, and be Hip n Happening. Though I love to remain Hip n Happen every single day of my life. But I urge you to make your festival day more Trendy, Sexy, and Fashionable it will give you enough and more self-confidence & FGF (Feel Good Factor). Always be in your style! Style spreads positive vibes.
> F-The-Child: Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, and Children of all Age! Bring alive a child within you during festival time. You can’t celebrate the festival in a true sense unless n until you become WMC – Weapon of Mass Celebration and that can be possible only n only thru by bringing back the innocence of the child within.
> F-The-Love: Ever notice that it’s the people we love most that we must take for granted? Odd isn’t it. It’s easy to spend less time with your family, friends, loved ones because they will always be there for you (or so you assume). It’s easy to put off expressing your love to your loved ones because there seems to be no urgency at play. It’s easy to let home relationships slip because you assume there are more pressing things to deal with. But the festival gives you a unique opportunity to express your love be it your parents, spouse or friends. Express your love to them; hug them of Festival during the festival it will just be like a chocolate brownie with double chocolate for both the party.
Live full out. Vow to celebrate your festival in the best possible way. Love like there’s no tomorrow. Enjoy every moment of the festival.
Life’s an incredible adventure. Tons of highs and lots of lows. But above all of it, is precious. Happening. Gorgeous. Sexy. Keep designing the very best stories of your life. More importantly, keep the ‘F’ word top of mind and celebrate it.
