I hope all my professional connections enjoyed Independence Day. My family spent time with friends enjoying the traditional backyard BBQ and last weekend I spent time with my older brother at his Veteran's home celebrating an early 4th as well as seeing some close friends including fraternity brothers who one I haven't seen for many years. Life is about relationships, quality connections and spending time with the people you care about and who support you no matter what. If you haven't recently connected with someone you care about, consider sending a quick text or make a phone call - it will be worth it.
