Consistency: The Key to Lifelong Fitness
One of my goals of 2025 is re-focusing on my own personal health. In the whirlwind of our daily lives, it's easy to let exercise slip down the priority list. But here's the thing – consistent exercise is more than just a commitment to physical health; it's an investment in our overall well-being.
Mental Clarity: Regular workouts boost our mood, reduce stress, and sharpen cognitive functions. It's like giving our brain a refreshing reboot.
Physical Strength: Building a routine helps us maintain muscle strength, flexibility, and endurance, ensuring our bodies can support us through life's adventures.
Longevity: Consistency in exercise promotes a healthier heart, better sleep, and increased energy levels, contributing to a longer, more vibrant life.
Let's not underestimate the power of small, steady steps. It's not about perfection; it's about progress. Embrace the journey, celebrate your milestones, and remember – every step counts.

As most everyone is coming back from time off, a person on my team shared this great Copilot prompt to help summarize what you may have missed while out of the office.

I’ve been on vacation. Summarize what I’ve missed from the last 7 days into bullet points of actions where I’ve been mentioned.
?Then, look through my email’s “Inbox” folder, Teams chats, and meeting recaps and transcripts. Create a table that includes: Action item, deadline, who assigned it. Order all items in the table by the suggested priority in which they should be completed.

Depending on my mood and level of workout I am looking for I love Cody Rigsby, Ali Love and when I am feeling ambitious Alex T. My typical timing is 45 minutes but occasionally I do 60 or when time constrained 30 or 20 minutes. I like intervals and arms. I love being able to get an arm workout in as part often it! 1 个月Great post, Brian! Consistency truly is the key to lifelong fitness and overall well-being. I’ve been practicing kendo twice a week (sometimes more when preparing for a tournament) for the past 12 years. It’s been an incredible journey, not just for the physical and mental benefits but also for the social connections I’ve built with friends at the dojo. Wishing you the best on your fitness journey! Celebrate the small wins, enjoy the process, and keep moving forward—progress over perfection, always. ????
Good theme! This winter in Maine (brrrr!) I'll be skiiing and enjoying the pool at University of Maine Athletic Center. Having friends that want to commit to doing things together helps.
