TFP (Time For Prints)

In my world as a photographer, there is a thing called TFP. It's where (usually) models and photographers trade time / skills both contributing to create images that are of mutual benefit to each party. It generally works very well. This image was done as a TFP with 2 dancers and became one of the shots in my ( if I may say so ) successful exhibition ; Still Dancing. This and the other shots in that exhibition caught the eye of Birmingham Royal Ballet and for a few years now I have been working with them creating marketing and publicity images and very recently I spent 5 days with them shooting all the dancers in the company. This, I am quite glad to say was not a TFP but a paid shoot. My question here is, do other industries have a similar thing to TFP? I know lawyers work pro bono for causes close to their heart but is there anything in say engineering, science, the automotive industries that works in a similar way..and if so, what is it called? Now, does any web design / marketing company want to do a TFP with me......?
