“Intellectual Property (IP) Text and Context with BananaIP" is an initiative aimed at providing IP developments and updates through live and recorded sessions. As a part of this program, experts from BananaIP come together every month to organize live sessions on different IP developments that impact business and practice and discuss the consequences of each development. Specific sessions are dedicated to patent, copyright, trademark, design, licensing, eCommerce, entertainment, and other legal discussions relating to IP.
Discussions may relate to recently decided cases, Government policies/updates, IP Office matters, International Treaty developments, and any other relevant topics. Expert opinions and reflections may be sought during the sessions, and these discussions are open for public participation. The primary focus of each discussion will be on how a particular development can affect business activities and IP practice.

Union of India and Ors. decided by the High Court of Delhi on July 5th, 2022 wherein Justice Pratibha M.
