For years, corporations have ignored information and data that was in the form of text. For years corporations have missed great business opportunity. Now there is technology that allows you the opportunity to start unlocking the secrets that have been wrapped in text. Now you can start to leverage text in your corporation. For the first time.
So where is all of this text that you haven’t been looking at? You can start using your text that is found in:
Call center conversations
On the Internet
In contracts
In insurance claims
In surveys
In medical records
And in many, many other places.
Come join Bill Inmon in an intensive two week long Internet course where you will learn all about starting to use text for decision making in your corporation. The course will be taught at 10:00 am Mountain Daylight Time (Denver time) each day for two weeks. We plan on each daily session lasting for about an hour. This is an intensive course where you will learn all you need to know about capturing, integrating and using text in your organization. Due to the nature of the course material, no one will be admitted after the first class.
There are two levels of participation. You may either attend the course (just sit in and listen) or you may become certified. All attendees and their level of completion will be listed on Bill’s Forest Rim site for all the world to see. You are free to use these credentials on your resume once you have taken the course.
The topics that will be discussed include –
Overview – what is going on
Sources of text – where does the text come from
Textual ETL dynamics – processing text
Taxonomies – the “brains” of text analytics
Sentiment analysis – what are people saying
Exploring text – non sentiment analysis

4 年Personally, I really enjoy Bill's style of teaching. He uses real use cases to verify just how amazing his methods are when compared to NLP. The first class has been very successful, so I'm glad he's offering it again. This should change the way everyone handles textual data analytics.

4 年This free class is very interesting and informative. Analyzing textual unstructured and constantly changing data is one of the major trends shaping the evolution of data and analytics. It can provide users information, context and deeper insights that improve the accuracy of predictions and decision-making.
