Texas Tech Lays Claim to the Team Nobody Wants to Play in March
Texas Tech destroyed TCU 88-42 last night in Lubbock. The Red Raiders played their most complete game of the season in dismantling the Horned Frogs. The other thing they did is put the rest of the Big 12 on notice. Texas Tech has seven Big 12 games remaining this season as well as the Big 12 Conference Tournament to gain a few more high profile wins. The Red Raiders best chances will come on the final week of the Regular Season when they travel to Baylor and host Kansas. I wouldn't want to play Texas Tech in early March no matter where the game was. Head Coach Chris Beard has a knack of getting more out of his players than most of his coaching adversaries. That will be the same case this season. Could the Red Raiders reach the Elite Eight for the third straight year? I wouldn't put it past them.
