In Texas Mark Cuban Buys an Entire Town with No Zoning Restrictions
New Jersey has some of the most expensive real estate and onerous land use regulations. Another extreme is the entire town in Texas, over 76 acres, Mark Cuban was able to purchase as a favor to a friend. The property is approximately an hour from Dallas and three hours from Houston. There are NO zoning restrictions! The land has endless possibilities, but just think what a developer could do with land in New Jersey an hour or two from each NYC and Phila. And the price? The less than $4 million price tag will increase exponentially here in New Jersey under similar circumstances. I presume that it would have to be a "destination," but with 76+ acres and no restrictions, just think of all the fun we could have!
