Texas Ale Project? Announces?Somethin’ Bacon?World Food Championship Qualifier Event?(September 18th, 2021)??

Dallas, Texas?(August 11th, 2021) – Dallas Design District’s popular craft brewery,?Texas Ale Project, has yet another fun and creative event on their fall roster. After celebrating their 6th?Anniversary on Dallas’ craft beer scene with a 4-day TAP Fest in June, TAP has announced that they will host?Somethin’ Bacon?– A World Food Championship qualifier event – in early fall on Saturday, September 18th, 2021.?

Somethin’ Bacon?will take the place of the previously held?Somethin’ Cheesy?event that TAP has previously hosted. They have partnered with the?World Food Championships?and will host the Bacon qualifying round at the brewery. This unique event will have live music, food truck(s), and judging for the bacon competition. And who doesn’t love bacon? Culinary enthusiasts from all over the metroplex will come together as they prepare their best bacon dish or food item to win the popular vote, and a chance to compete in the World Food Championships coming to Dallas in November 2021.?

Judge’s Choice: each competitor may provide (5) prepared plates to present to the Judges. Judge’s Choice will win entry into the Bacon Competition at The World Food Championships, a $100 Cash Prize, a Tasting Party for 4 at Texas Ale Project, and a souvenir glass and TAP hat.?

People’s Choice: each competitor may provide (100) sample size portions for guests. Guests will vote on their favorite bacon dish to win People’s Choice. People’s Choice will win a Tasting Party for 4 at Texas Ale Project, a souvenir glass, (1) case of Texas Ale Project beer, and a TAP hat.?

Best Booth: decorate your booth to win the people’s choice Best Booth vote. The winner will win a Tasting Party for 4 at Texas Ale Project, a souvenir glass, and a TAP hat. Texas Ale Project will provide (1) 6’ table, (100) disposable 1 lb. food trays, forks, and cocktail napkins.?

*** The People’s Choice Winner will be eligible for The World Food Championships in the event the Judge’s Choice Winner is unable to participate.?
