The passage, ‘When he has tested me, I will come forth as gold’ (Job 23:10 NIV), reminds us that, unlike the early days of television programming, when schedules were routinely interrupted by thirty-second tests of ‘The Emergency Broadcast System’, the interruptions that come into our lives are unscheduled, unwelcome, come at the worst possible time and can last for weeks, years and in some cases, a lifetime. In other words, tests are invaluable, integral and indispensable parts of our spiritual growth and it is how we handle them that decides our testimonies. So let the knowledge that: 1) To enjoy the blessing that God has in mind for us, we have to pass life’s tests; 2) Every detail works to our advantage and to His glory, and the result will always be more grace and more praise; and 3) On the outside it may look like things are falling apart, but on the inside, not a day goes by without His unfolding grace; teach you, though the reason may not be completely clear to you, to never ever give up for indeed, you are ‘graced’ for each test!FG. www.femigee.com
