Don't use your IT equipment to load test your data centre or computer room, thats what the ION L6000 G2 is for. It has been designed to simulate IT server operation and heat loads.

The L6000 G2 is also used to determine the temperature rise time period to 40°C - 45°C during simulated failure of a cooling system. These tests can also let IT managers to build staff training programs for the maximum operating temperature of commercial grade IT equipment.

The L6000 G2 series load bank is a safe and simple way to provide rack level load testing. The small 4RU footprint can test up to a maximum of 6.6kW of load, controlled via six (6) 1.1 kW individually controlled load segments. Connection to the load bank is made effortlessly via three C20 input sockets, mounted conveniently on the front of the unit that can be connected to any PDU.
