Testimony of Fanie and Susan

Please read my personal testimony of what happened to me when I died from a blood clot that went through my lungs on Sunday 12 May 2019. 

" On Sunday 12 May 2019 at about 15:20 I died and if it was not for my wife Susan van Vuuren and a lifesaver named Allan Kuhnel, who was at the right place at the right time, who laid hands on me and prayed I wouldn’t have been here today. There is much power in prayer. I am a living testimony of it.

What happened was that I had pain in the back of my right knee from Thursday night. As I suffer from gout I thought it was just a gout flare. This pain got severe Sunday morning. After we came back from the airport I had excruciating pain in my right knee and my wife Susan went to Galleria Clicks to buy me some gout medicine. I was in so much pain that I got out of my car and while waiting for her to return I felt my blood sugar dropping. I then took a few sips of my coke, but it didn’t really help. As Susan came back, just in time, I gave her the key to the car and told her I just wanted to lie down. I then went to the passenger side, and as I sat down I was gone.

Susan: “As Fanie got in the passenger seat I saw that his color changed to a grayish color. When he sat down, immediately his head dropped to the back, his eyes turned over and the next moment his face fell forward and his eyes closed. He was completely cold and his skin was wet. He did not breathe. My first thought was that he had a blood clot in his leg and that it went through his lung. I felt anxious and might have screamed. Next I started to pray for him, and I hit his heart 4 times with my fist. I then got out of the car and saw people in a car parked not far from us. I shouted for help and they came running to our car immediately. The wife, Barbara, immediately phoned the ambulance, Netcare 911 who responded quickly, and the husband, Allan, went to Fanie. He felt his pulse and there was nothing. He immediately laid hands on Fanie and I joined him and we prayed together. Just after that Fanie gave a very loud scream and then he woke up. Allan lowered the seat and made Fanie comfortable. He told Fanie to stay calm and just to take deep breaths. He felt Fanie’s pulse and said it was good and strong. He told Fanie that he would be fine, God restored him. Fanie said that his leg was very sore and we laid hands on his leg and prayed for him again. We then had the car’s aircon blowing on him. Fanie then asked what happened and who was screaming. We told him that it was he who screamed so loudly.”

As I was ‘waking up’ I asked who was screaming so loud and they told me that it was me. I then remembered I was falling and falling and falling.... into a big black hole, which was the reason I was screaming. It was dark, very dark with no climse of light anywhere. It was terrifying.....

When Netcare 911 arrived they checked all my vitals – heart rate, blood pressure, sugar, pulse – and everything was 100%. Because we don’t have medical aid I decided that I don’t want to go to a Government hospital, I would rather go home.

The next day we went to see the doctor, by then my leg was completely healed and there was no more pain or swelling. The doctor examined me and couldn’t find anything wrong. She was also amazed by what God had done.

I just want to thank God for completely healing me. I would also like to thank Susan, my lovely wife, and Allan for praying for me and our friend Dirk Coetzer who took us home afterwards." 

So, God gave me another chance and He is calling for you to open your heart right now and allow Him to become your Lord and Savior. Death came quickly. That morning when I woke up, I never thought I might die that day. You might not be so lucky as I was and where are you going to spend eternity?

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
