Testimonial From Our 1st Job;

During the last 3 months we have embarked on a program to replace most of the windows and doors in our house.

We had windows that were single glazed in wooden frames and sashes. The wooden windows rattled in the wind, let air flow through the gaps because of a poor manufacturing system, the spiral balances were barely functioning in most windows and had been taken out of some. The house was hot in the summer and cold during winter and we had rotten wood and a never ending painting program, so we had a few issues that we wanted to address.

After receiving quotes from 5 suppliers we selected Mint Window and Door Solutions.

Their quote was well priced and their product ticked all of the important issues for us. Locally manufactured doors and windows, locally manufactured double glazing to Australian Specs and flexibility in door and window design. We required uPVC so that we could take advantage of a modern product with a proven track record that is essentially maintenance free and energy efficient. Our first contact with Mint Window and Door Solutions was on the 9 July 2015. Today it is the 28th Oct 2015. We made our decision during the first week of August and signed a contract mid August. All of the window and door frames and all of the glass was delivered on Friday 2nd Oct. Installation was completed to our satisfaction on Friday 23rd October.

We are now enjoying a very quiet environment, with no rattles and no drafts. The house appears cooler in the evenings after a few warm days, and is definitely warmer in the mornings after a breezy or cooler night. We are very happy the way that the new windows and doors are performing. It will take some time to understand the energy savings that we gain, but we are confident that it will be well worth while.

Regarding Mint Window and Door Solutions, we are very happy to recommend this company. Sam Powell has been responsive, obliging and has conducted business in a professional and personable manner. Sam along with all of his staff and contractors have been easy and a pleasure to work with. Our house has been left in a secure and weather proof manner every evening and the disruption expected in an exercise like this, that enters every room in the house, has been minimal and tolerable.
