Testament to product re-engineering

At Walstead UK we believe passionately in the benefits of product re-engineering; taking a project that’s evolved over a period of time and making changes to increase the value of the product. This particular project had been printed sheet-fed for a number of years at a unique trim size, requiring bespoke paper and production methods. Our client wanted to increase the volume of copies to reach a wider audience without investing significant additional funds into the project.

 Following an initial consultation with the client on how the specification could be amended to achieve this, white paper dummies were made along with new web-offset estimates to the newly proposed specification. Once booked in, careful liaison and production management was required to overcome the challenges presented to both parties by the COVID-19 working restrictions.
