What's Your?Moonshot?

Recently, I did a poll on LinkedIn asking people how much of their life they are committed to dedicate at building a breakthrough venture.?I was quite amazed by the result.?Almost 50% of them are ready to spend 20 years for it!

This is what is a moonshot—an extremely ambitious and innovative project that serves your grand vision. A good moonshot tackles a huge problem, involves one or several breakthrough technologies, and provides a radical solution that allows improvements of at least ten times, or 10X.

When you have a moonshot, you catapult your ambition to 10X growth while others are aiming 10% growth. If you want to materialize your breakthrough potential and achieve your wildest dreams, you must target things that seem impossible at first.

Past Talk

On June 17th I was?in London for a great evening with?ParkerSteel Limited?and?Brisko Metal Resources?delivering the introduction keynote?during their Nexum product launch event at Arcelor Mittal Orbit iconic place. I talked about sustainability, fighting climate change, breakthrough solutions like?Maana Electric, and that we must be game-changers?to build the world we love.

We had great fun with excellent food and drinks, musicians from London Philharmonic Orchestra and a shot of adrenaline taking the world’s longest tunnel slide ... 178m long !!!

Here are a few simple things that I mentioned during my talk and that you can do within your organization to act today for the planet:

• Reduce the amount of paper your business uses. This can have a significant environmental impact.
• Add plants to your office's interior and exterior. Plants contribute to cleaner air quality, promoting a healthier office and reducing sick leave.
• Make recycling as accessible and easy as possible.
• Cut back on single-use products, especially plastic products.
• Gradually start replacing everyday products with greener options.?For example, many cleaning products have more natural alternatives.
• With no commute, no stops for coffee in foam cups and no drain on office electricity, employees leave a much smaller carbon footprint.
• Use recyclable or biodegradable packaging materials.
• Consider alternative energy solutions like installing solar panels on parking roof.

Summer Break

During July and August, I'll make a pause with Testa Pulse, and also generally with my presence on social media.?After 6 months of very active and productive work, I need a break to?recharge the batteries.

I wish you can do the same.?Taking a break?allows to focus on yourself. Work can be demanding sometimes, and if you are grinding away hour after hour, chances are this toil may be costing you more than productivity. Taking breaks allows your brain and body to get the necessary recharge it needs to keep going.

A break can be really helpful to refocus your attention. Taking a moment to recharge alone or with family and friends?gives you time to reflect on yourself and understand why you are feeling the way you are. This short pause can actually help reboot your brain to be more tuned in.

For me, I know it?allows me to come up with fresh ideas or solutions.?I can't wait to announce plenty of exciting stuff in September!
