Tessol is a Mumbai-based Cleantech startup providing thermal energy-based cold chain technology solutions founded in 2013 by Rajat Gupta and Niranjana Neelakantan.

The last-mile delivery of frozen products has always been a difficult proposition for Indian manufacturers, considering the tropical climate and high temperatures. Carbon emissions also pose another challenge to sustainability.??

Tessol delved deep into the pain point, merged technology with sustainability, and created an effective solution. With major manufacturing giants looking at sustainability as an indispensable factor, Tessol’s products were soon an integral part of the supply chain, making them the market leaders in India.?

During the pandemic, there had been a surge in demand for cold chain solutions. Tessol grabbed this opportunity and expanded operations to Australia, New Zealand, and UAE.

• Funding raised in June 2022 is INR 7.5 Cr, to be utilized towards research, geographical expansion, and team building.?
