Tesla Roadster 2025 Could Speed Up from 0 To 60 Mph in Less Than a Second Using SpaceX Technology, Claimed Elon Musk

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, announced that the upcoming Tesla Roadster will accelerate from 0-60 mph in just one second, a feat made possible by technology from SpaceX , another of Musk's ventures. Musk revealed the redesigned Roadster in a series of posts on social media platform X, highlighting the collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX.

Describing the new Roadster as a groundbreaking vehicle, Musk emphasized that it will be unlike any other car. He hinted at even more impressive features beyond its incredible acceleration, suggesting that the vehicle's capabilities will exceed conventional expectations. Elon Musk has announced plans to finalize and reveal the design of the Tesla Roadster by the end of this year, with shipments expected to start in 2025. Despite its name, the Roadster will be a four-seater with a removable glass roof, departing from the traditional two-seat convertible style often associated with roadsters.

Originally unveiled at the Tesla Semi reveal event in 2017, the Roadster boasted impressive specifications. Tesla claimed a range of 620 miles, a 0-60 mph time as low as 1.9 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 250 mph. Musk has now stated that the Roadster will achieve a 0-60 mph time of less than one second, although he noted that this performance metric is just one aspect of the car's capabilities, describing it as "the least interesting part" of the vehicle.
