Terminator 6 is officially greenlighted!

When Arnold Schwarzenegger said “I’ll be back” back in 1984, I guess he didn’t have a clue he will be making six terminators movies. Well, screenwriter Billy Ray (Captain Phillips) officially announced today the film starts shooting in June. The good news it’s happening under the watchful eye of Tim Miller (Deadpool) with James Cameron serving as producer.
Ray quoted today:
“Terminator got its official GREEN-LIGHT yesterday. Production begins June 19. Add my name to the list of very happy Linda Hamilton fans.”
Skydance and Paramount Studios will be in charge of production and will be released on July 26, 2019. Another promising news is Terminator 6 will not recognize Terminator 3, 4, and 5. So, I guess its sort of a sequel to Terminator 2.
