Taiwan Updates: Nancy Pelosi touches down in Taiwan and reaffirms that the US stands with Taiwan in the face of threats from China. Airlines have been warned to avoid areas near Taiwan as tensions escalate, military drills & missile tests were reportedly carried out as President Xi Jinping faces the 20th Party Congress of Chinese Communist Party -? a twice-a-decade leadership congress later this year.?

APAC Trade: Nikkei 225 rose on tech boost, crude oil wobbled ahead of OPEC+ meeting later today and China Services PMI came in at 15-month high as new orders picked up pace after the recent economic fallout from COVID-Zero policy.

Day Ahead: Highlights include UK PMI finals at 0930 GMT, Retail Sales Figures out of the Eurozone at 1000 GMT, US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for July at 1500 GMT and the weekly inventory data out of the US Department of Energy at 1530 GMT.?
