Mr.?Raju Mahadevan?is Founder & Director of Techno Specialist Consulting Engineers and is based in Dubai.

Mahadevan has more than 22 years of Civil & Structural Engineering experience in projects located in Asia, Middle East, Africa and USA. He has significant experience in the field of lightweight tensile fabric structures with low, medium and long spanning structures along with the skills in the development of detailed engineering deliverables, tender specifications, performance requirements in addition to specific expertise in inspection, testing and supervision of such installations. Mahadevan played important roles as a third-party inspection & certifying agency in this field. He has extended his experience and expertise in development of important constructions in the field of light-weight tensile fabric structures with remarkable achievements in terms of cost, quality and time. Mahadevan managed and delivered different levels of projects totaling to more than 2 million Sqm area of membrane.

During the early stage of his career, he worked in many organizations engaged in contracting, fabrication, engineering consultancy, etc, which demanded high level of lateral thinking, imagination, and engineering skills not only in providing the solution – but also on the deeper aspects on, fabrication, construction and installation too.

Mahadevan holds a post-graduation in Structural Engineering and a professional accreditation as Chartered Structural Engineer (IstructE UK). He also holds an MBA in Technology Management. Mahadevan is an accredited structural engineer from M/s Dubai Municipality for Steel Construction – Unlimited Heights. He offers lectures frequently to educational institutions, conferences and events. He promotes the development basic civil/structural engineering concepts at the grass-root level and innovative designs for customized solution.
