What I Learned at the 2023 FranNet Spring Conference

As a FranNet consultant since 2005, I always look forward to the company’s spring and fall conferences, bi-annual gatherings that feature some of the best and brightest minds in the franchising industry. The?2023 FranNet Spring Conference?was held last month and turned out to be quite a successful event. These conventions always have a way of reenergizing our effort to help entrepreneurs make their business ownership dreams a reality.?

I wanted to share a few of the takeaways that I personally experienced at this event, and what they mean both to the industry and my prospective clients back at home in Tennessee. Here’s a recap of my experience…

FranNet’s conferences are well known for their ability to attract representatives from some of the best franchise opportunities available, as well as some of the industry’s most established funding organizations. Dozens of individual brands were there to provide FranNet consultants with the latest information, data, and statistics that demonstrate their potential in the marketplace. The sheer breadth and depth of the industries, business sectors, and categories that were in attendance was amazing.?There were franchises represented in the healthcare, beauty, home improvement, technology, education, childcare, fitness, pet care, youth enrichment, and restaurant categories – just to name a few.?Some were veteran franchisors, with decades of experience, and others were some of the newest, emerging brands on the scene. From an operational standpoint, some were full-time opportunities and others were semi-absentee models. All were eager to share why their concepts were worthy of consideration from our prospective clients. My biggest takeaway? Nearly all of the brand representatives identified Tennessee as one of the hottest markets to grow their family of franchise owners.

IMHO not only does the State of Tennessee promote an excellent business climate, but most of the folks here are so friendly and enthusiastic. Doing business in Tennessee is easier and enjoyable.
