Tenfold: The Next Chapter

As we turn the calendars to February, today marks the start of Tenfold's 2018 fiscal year, and my first official day as an Account Executive with the Commercial sales team.
2017 proved to be a wild ride. When I joined in March, there were about 40 of us. Now? over 100 employees and growing by the day. We've added a Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Customer Officer, several VPs, and A LOT of individual contributors.
The SDR team? Didn't exist when I started. I played a major role in scaling this team, and it's by far and away my proudest professional achievement of the last year. From creating a framework for the team, to interviewing candidates, onboarding new SDRs, and leveraging science to engage the right companies at the right time, I can truly say it was a unique learning experience that you can only find at a high growth startup. Was it challenging? Yes. Was it a business education that you could never get in the classroom? Absolutely.
Now? The SDR team is built to take 2018 by storm. In Q4 alone, we generated over $6 million in new pipeline, almost exclusively within the Fortune 500. This is only the tip of the iceberg, and we continue to get better by the day, one cold call at a time.
We built out an enterprise field sales team from scratch and promptly added T-Mobile, Adobe, Staples, and more, to our already impressive list of successful customers.
On the engineering front, countless sleepless nights resulted in an impressive flurry of new integrations, features, and fixes. We rolled out a new desktop application, an entire voice analytics suite, and mobile integration. The speed and quality with which we are able to iterate on our vision and client needs is a testament to Tenfold's dedication to putting the customer first.
There are too many people that contributed to a successful 2017 to name here, but the hard work and creativity from top to bottom was truly inspirational. I am super thankful for everyone at Tenfold that helped the company and me grow tremendously within the last year.
Ok that's great and all Brian, but why should I care?
Great question. If you are in charge of customer-facing employees and are looking at ways to increase their productivity while delivering a better customer experience and capturing all the data you need to help run your business, then we should talk.

You’re attitude and approach in 2017 helped shape the SDR team but it also more broadly established a powerful mindset that resonated across the company of putting in the work and doing the hard things to drive towards our common objectives.
