Tenedos #001: predicting the shape of proteins, next-generation chips, nuclear fusion, new photos of Jupiter (english edition)

? ?? Welcome to the first edition of Tenedos

I round up the best articles of the week and send them to a group of people who are as passionate about the world of technology as I am. I do this to keep up with this rapidly changing world. My main areas of interest are emerging technologies, blockchain and the world of innovation in general.

? ?? In short

? ?? Must reads

?? Artificial intelligence can now predict the shape of any protein

AlphaFold (DeepMind's artificial intelligence) will be available to everyone free of charge. It is now able to predict the structure of almost all known structures on the planet, produced by many different species.

?? Google changes its algorithm (again)

Educational content, entertainment content, reliable shopping websites and technology-related pages will be rewarded.

?? Intel will make 1 trillion transistor chips by 2030

A chiplet is a part of a processing module that makes up an integrated circuit, such as a computer processor. Instead of producing a processor on a single piece of silicon with the desired number of cores, chiplets allow manufacturers such as AMD and Intel to use several smaller chips to make up a larger integrated circuit.

?? Elon Musk promises worldwide internet coverage within a year

SpaceX founder Elon Musk has entered into a partnership with one of the largest telecommunications companies in the United States to provide internet connectivity via satellite worldwide.

?? Nuclear fusion is the new playground

Nuclear is an hot topic again. A serious pile of private and public funding (similar to what is happening in the space industry) is behind them.

?? Scientists did not expect the images of Jupiter taken by the Webb telescope to be so beautiful

Rainbow auroras, giant storms and distant galaxies are all on display in the latest images of Jupiter from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope.
