Tend the scars, avoid the cracks.

Everyday opens ample opportunities for learning.
Recently, I observed that scars acquired in my youthful age had either disappeared or hardly visible on my skin. This can't be unique to me. What's your take?
Scars are evidence of natural human body’s healing process – the product of body’s repair mechanism from wounds or injury.
If you tend the scars, you bear less (and less) pains and overtime you forget the pains ‘forever’. You may even find out that those scars are no longer where they used to be any longer.
In the industry, cracks on walls of buildings, road networks, plant equipment or reinforcements are referred to as structural defects.
Some of these defects are repairable while many are not. The price of irreparable or irreversible cracks are costly!
Hence, the goal is always to avoid cracks for safety, health, environment and economic reasons. You do all you can to ensure structural defect does not precipitate.
In relationships, there will be wounds. Let the wound heal in love, maturity, and mutual respect.
I know that it’s not easy but it’s worth every penny to give peace a chance.
Most lovers or business partners have called it quit on account of irreconcilable differences.
Many have even lost long-term friendships due to opposing political views averse to congruence.
Things have fallen apart, and the center could no longer hold – credits to William Butler Yeats and Nigeria’s Chinua Achebe.
Relationship breaks down irreparably when hurts are not treated as wounds but cracks. In the same vein, wounds unattended can lead to permanent amputation!
My advice?
????Learn to tend the scars in relationship after giving ‘cognitive attention’ to the wounds’ healing process and
???Always avoid the cracks with all your zeal and zest.
