Ten Years And Counting For Leading City Accountants
Leading Bristol independent practice Corrigan Accountants celebrated 10 years in business with a special dinner for past and present members of staff, long standing clients and friends.
The dinner held in the newly refurbished Cooper’s Hall at Bristol Old Vic marked 10 years since Ed Corrigan left a major national practice to start Corrigan Associates - now rebranded as Corrigan Accountants.
Ed Corrigan said: “It was in the depth of the recession back then but the time felt right to offer a more personalised service along with the advice and support our clients needed to navigate some tough times ahead.
“Most of the clients have gone from strength to strength since those days and we’re now advising many of the fastest growing companies around the region, particularly in the tech sector.
“We were early adopters of cloud technology which has given us a head start on building a practice capable of meeting the demands of tomorrow. There’s still a good future for professional service but firms need to be lean and efficient and geared around the needs of their clients not the other way round.”
Ed Corrigan concluded: “Our range of services has grown – we’re dealing with start-ups from inception as well as assisting entrepreneurs sell their businesses at the other end of the business life cycle.
“More than anything we’ve built a great team of people. The last 10 years have flown by but we’re well on the road to becoming the leading independent accountancy practice in Bristol which is a tribute to the hard work of the partners and staff.”
