Ten Ways to Quiet Primitive Brain Thinking and Quiet the Negative Voice in Your Head

Here’s the short list of instantly quieting primitive brain thinking: (1) Awareness (2) Kindness? (3) Gratitude (4) Close friends (5) 12-minute walk (6) Neurobypass (7) Slow brainwaves (8) Music (9) Attention, and (10) Breathe.
1.???? Awareness: Our negative thinking is a habit below the surface making us unaware. A useful way to quiet these thoughts is to recognize them, be aware of them, and then think about something else. Change the subject.
2.???? Kindness: Kindness is from the heart. If you’re thinking from the head causing stress, then thinking from the heart will instantly eliminate the feeling because you can’t think from two places at once. Think from the heart with kindness to yourself and self-compassion. Think from the heart with kindness to others, and you will instantly have zero-level stress.
3.???? Gratitude: Gratitude is from the heart. Being grateful for what you have in the moment, and for the positive people in your life will instantly quiet the negative voice.
4.???? Close friends: Talking with close friends will stop primitive brain thinking, only with your two or three close personal friends because these relationships are based on both individuals thinking from the heart with kindness, unconditional giving, and trust. There are no selfish thoughts with one-ups, put-downs, or destructive comments. So, talking with your close friend will instantly quiet the negative voice because you will be thinking from your heart with kindness.
5.???? 12-minute walk: Stressed at work or at home? Quit doing what you’re doing, open the door, and go for a walk. Do not think about your problems or other self-centered negative thoughts while walking. Feel the surroundings. You can think from the mind with feelings of calmness or positive creativity to solve problems and help others. No negative thoughts. Walk for six minutes, turn around, and return. You’ll feel like a new person with zero-level stress.
6.???? Neurobypass: A neuropathway is a chain of connections between nerve cells in our brain. We build neuropathways every day. Some of these are negative, such as the negative voice in your head causing stress. Eliminate stress by building a bypass with a positive pathway. It may seem strange at first, but you do this by saying “love and peace” over and over to yourself for 30 seconds until the feeling of stress has disappeared. Repeat as needed when you recognize negative thinking causing stress. Keep doing this and eventually the old negative pathway will wither away out of existence.

7.???? Slow brainwaves: We have several brainwave frequencies, fast ones while awake and slow ones for sleep. Fast brainwaves are required for the negative head voice. Slow them down with meditation or thinking from your heart with kindness, and your negative thoughts will disappear.
8.???? Music: Soothing positive music will slow the brainwaves and eliminate stress.
9.???? Attention: Attention is from the mind, and not from the head. So, if you’re stressed that means you’re thinking from the primitive brain region; therefore, pay attention to what you’re doing, and you will have zero-level stress.?
10.? Breathe: Stressed? Take a deep breath. Better yet, do some yoga breathing. For example, take a few belly breaths by having your belly go up when you breathe in and relaxed breathing out; equal breaths by breathing in the same amount as you breathe out; or yoga box breathing by breathing in for count of 5, hold for 5, breathe out for 5, and hold for 5.
Use one or all ten ways to quiet the negative voice in your head. Your life will be filled with high energy and enjoyment. Keep doing these techniques, and over time, the amount of stress will diminish and can eventually disappear. Engage life in the moment and thrive in your uniqueness.
