Ten Things I learned from my Chorkie!!

Ten Things I learned from my Chorkie!!

While recuperating from surgery I learned a lot from our little 3 lb chorkie. What is a chorkie you ask? It's a combination Chihuahua and Yorkie. We have two other dogs that are yorkies and a cat that weighs more than the chorkie

  1. Taking naps several times per day reserves energy
  2. Chasing a ball for hours on end is unbelievably entertaining. Sometimes able to actually jump ahead of the ball when you throw it.
  3. When others bother you, like the cat. Just jump around senselessly, the cat will eventually walk away with the sheer annoyance that a dog that weighs less than she has that much nerve.
  4. Sleeping at night is the best part of being a chorkie. After hours of playing ball and exhaustingly annoying the other animals all day sleeping next to her owners is calming. I will circle once or twice one way than another three or four times another to plunk myself down as close as possible for the night.
  5. If I sit quietly and look cute someone will feed me. No, it doesn't matter that I just ate.
  6. Peeing outside is truly annoying when I can stand anywhere in the house and pee wherever. It's so small the owners almost think its cute.
  7. My voice, it's annoying and gets their attention quickly.
  8. If the other dogs bark I just bark along with them. It doesn't matter that I have no idea what they are barking about.
  9. The grandkids are my salvation. They show up and they will play ball with me for hours never-ending energy is almost at the level of my energy
  10. Little dogs have the best position in the house. They can do anything and somehow it is adorable.

Sincerely,

Minnie
