Abstract

The benefits to healthy eating is underrated because of the non-visible and non-tangible results shown by the body within the first few weeks or months of adopting a habit of eating healthy and exercising regularly, making it challenging to convince people to stay healthy by considering nutritional, physiological, and physical health and fitness in their daily lives.

Adopting healthy habits does not only mean eating healthy food, but to consistently put your body to the test by adapting to daily exercises as these constant trails to staying healthy will have vast health benefits in your life.

Introduction


The activities we do to sustain or build our assets, such as maintaining and servicing our cars on a monthly or quarterly basis, are habits done to restrict or limit the chances of our cars breaking down, as a matter of fact, we go an extra length in paying for insurance and other expenses to ensure and maintain excellent conditions of our vehicles, but when it comes to our health, our body, we think of excuses not to have a gym membership, we seem to postpone such arrangements, lacking this mentality will attract high chances to be affected by diseases.

Taking care of our body is not rocket science, it starts by having enough sleep, of which, as the writer, I am guilty of, and eating healthy.

Sleeping 6 to 8 hours a day improves mental functionality, heart condition, and increases our energy levels. By now, we should know how eating healthy improves our health, as this was our daily song in kindergarten.

Eating healthy means choosing a variety of nutrient-rich foods that nourish your body and support overall well-being. A balanced diet includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats, while limiting processed foods, added sugars, and unhealthy fats.

By eating a diverse range of whole foods, you provide your body with the essential vitamins, minerals, and energy it needs to function at its best, maintain a healthy weight, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.


Exercising without eating healthy is similar to reading or listening without fully comprehending what is being said but bluntly agree to what is being said or asked, and being too quick to respond.


Eating a healthy diet offers numerous benefits for overall well-being. Here are ten key advantages:
