Temporary Office Closure

Good day everyone! Please be advised that we have recently relocated our office from Fort McMurray, AB to Victoria, BC. During this transition, our office will be CLOSED as we make final preparations for our re-opening scheduled on 02 January 2017.

Upon re-opening this practice, we will continue to offer our regular services, as before, and will be adding on-line individual counselling services for those residents of Alberta, and specifically, Fort McMurray, a Community of most importance to us. This on-line service will be in the form of video conferencing and will initially be available for individuals only. Following a trial period, it may be decided to include on-line couples sessions as well. Please refer to our website for further updates and information at www.impressions-counselling.org.

We are currently in the process of updating our contact data with new numbers and addresses and will be utilizing the next few weeks to update all our on-line materials and documentation. We respectfully request your patience and consideration as we continue to address and complete these necessary tasks.

Given the abundance of tasks to be completed in such a relatively short timeline, we will be unavailable by phone during this transition phase of this relocation. As such, we would appreciate any enquiries be forwarded to us via e-mail at [email protected]. We will be most happy to respond to your correspondence, at our first available opportunity.

Additionally, given the significant contrast in operational expenses now realized in our new location, we have adjusted our fee schedule in accordance with current local practice norms. This represents a serious reduction in hourly rates for Alberta residents and is intended to further support and assist in maximizing mental health supports for this geographical population.
