Temperature sensor for batteries
This temperature sensor allows you a very cost-effective production. When mounting the PCB, the sensor can be mounted like any other electronic component. The subsequent reflow soldering is not critical for the sensor. It can withstand temperatures of 260°C without additional measures. You mount the circuit board above the CCU and the sensors press on the surface of the lithium-ion cells. The pressure ensures good thermal contact, compensates for typical manufacturing tolerances and ensures reliable measurement even under vibration conditions.
As you can see, the installation and use of the sensor is very cost-effective. A safe solution for temperature measurement. Typically, two sensors are always used for one battery and the temperature is monitored redundantly.
The sensor is AEC-Q200 qualified and is currently used in mild hybrid cars.
